Israel launches missile attack on Syria

Israel launched a surface-to-surface missile attack on the outskirts of Quneitra Governorate in the Syrian Democratic Republic.

It was reported that the attack took place from the Golan Heights towards the border with Syria. The bombing caused property damage.

On February 9, four F-16 tactical fighters of the Israeli army, without crossing the borders of the Syria region, launched guided missile attacks on targets near the village of Al-Kiswah in the Damascus Governorate.

Then, from the Golan Heights, ten surface-to-surface missiles were fired at the positions of the Syrian Air Defense Forces.

Oleg Zhuravlev, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria, said that a Syrian soldier was killed and five others were wounded in Israeli missile strikes.
