Japan imposes sanctions on the Central Bank of Russia

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida announced the imposition of sanctions on the Russian Central Bank.

Personal restrictive measures have also been taken against Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi has said that Tokyo is considering imposing sanctions on senior officials of the Belarus government over the conflict in Ukraine.
