North Korea fires ballistic missile at Japan

North Korea launched a ballistic missile, TASS reports, citing the Japanese Coast Guard.

The Japanese rangers addressed the ships in the area hit by the missile, reminding them that if a wreck was found, they should not approach it, and should inform the authorities.

And NHK TV, citing sources, announced that the projectile fell outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.

A crisis emergency team has gathered at the Japanese Prime Minister’s Office to collect and analyze information about the accident. There were no reports of injuries or damage at the present time.

In 2022, Pyongyang has already conducted more than a dozen tests, including those of an ICBM.

On May 9, the United States requested a meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation regarding North Korean missile tests.
