Passengers on emergency landing in Iran held for 7 hours

The plane from Mainfoud to Dubai was forced to make an emergency landing in Iran. According to Mash Telegram, the passengers were left without food and water for seven hours because they did not have visas from that country.

About 50 minutes before the expected landing, the plane’s windows broke and the oxygen masks fell off. It turned out that one of the engines was smoking, because of which an emergency landing was made in Iran.

The passengers were evacuated from the plane and locked in a room for seven hours without food or water because they did not have a visa allowing them to enter Iran. Tehran airport employees explained to the Russians that they were in the country illegally, which is why they were locked inside.

After some time, they were allowed to go to the cafe, where there were children and elderly people among the passengers. All passengers were sent to Dubai on another plane.
