Increasing iftar and suhoor meals at Al-Azhar Mosque to 10,000 meals per day

The Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, directed that the number of meals be increased until the end of the month of Ramadan, by one thousand iftar meals per day, to become 6,000 meals per day, and to increase the suhoor meals to become 4,000 meals, to expand to foreign and Egyptian students.

 

The General Administration of Al-Azhar Mosque raised the maximum levels of readiness to receive worshipers during the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan, and the administration of the mosque was completed  Its readiness, through an integrated work system, operating around the clock, worked to intensify disinfection and sterilization operations, organize entry and exit, and distribute breakfast and suhoor meals.

 

Al-Azhar Mosque also prepared a schedule for candidates for the imamate. Tahajjud prayer, numbering (12) reciters, performing Tahajjud prayer with recitations, at a rate of (8) rak’ahs daily from the twentieth night of Ramadan until the end of the blessed month.

 

He followed up on the preparations and supervised them  Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, Dr. Abdel Moneim Fouad, Supervisor of Scientific Activities of the Al-Azhar Corridor at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque, and Dr. Hani Odeh, Director General of Al-Azhar Mosque.

 

Al-Azhar Mosque continues its plan. Scientific and advocacy work for the month of Ramadan under the guidance and sponsorship of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and includes: (150 recitations – 52 afternoon forums – 26 afternoon forums – Tarawih prayers at Al-Azhar Mosque and Al-Ba’uth Islamic City Mosque 20) A daily rak’ah with the ten recitations – 30 lessons with Tarawih – Tahajjud prayer at Al-Azhar Mosque and Al-Ba’uth City Mosque in the last ten days – organizing a number of celebrations related to the occasions of the Holy Month – 6,000 “breakfast meals” daily for foreign students, in addition to 4,000 suhoor meals). /p>
