This came in a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy Ukrainian newspaper today, Friday, and was reported by the Ukrainian Forum news agency. During the meeting, Galoshenko informed his Lithuanian counterpart of the consequences of the recent Russian attacks on the energy sector in Ukraine. He said: “Unlike last year, Russia has changed its tactics and the current attacks have more complex consequences for us. Thermal power generation facilities have been severely damaged. The Russian army is constantly attacking substations as well as hydroelectric power generation facilities.”

For his part, Lithuanian Energy Minister Dainius Krevis confirmed that his country is ready to support Ukraine and deliver equipment that will help carry out restoration and repair work.

 

< p>The two parties agreed that a group of Ukrainian energy engineers from public and private sector companies will visit Lithuania soon to inspect a number of Lithuanian energy facilities to verify the equipment that will later be transferred to the energy sector in Ukraine. 

 

In particular, this refers to the large-scale equipment of thermal power plants, which is very important for the energy system of Ukraine, which has lost a significant amount of thermal power generation facilities due to Russian attacks.. according to the statement.

 

Krivis also indicated that Lithuania is studying the possibility of transferring another powerful autotransformer to the Ukrainian side… adding that Ukraine has already received two powerful autotransformers and 72 other shipments of power equipment, with a total weight of more than 1,300 tons, from the Lithuanian side.

 

At the field level in Ukraine, the head of the military administration of the Kherson region, Oleksandr Prokudin, announced that the Russian army bombed 16 towns belonging to the region last night; As a result, 10 people were injured of varying severity.

 

Prokudin said – in a statement reported by the “Eucrin Forum” news agency: Ukrainian – “The Russian army opened fire on Antonivka, Pridneprovsky, Kizumys, Poniativka, Sadov, Dneprovsky, Yantarny, Belozerka, Tomina Palka, Mykelske, Bereslav, Dudchany, Kacharevka, Havrilivka, Novobislav, and Kherson.” 

 

The Ukrainian official added that As a result, 10 private homes were damaged, and there were injuries to a cooperative, a garage and a gas transmission systems company; As a result, the gas pipeline, heating pipeline, solar collectors and supporting structures were damaged.
