The organization stated that the city of Khan Yunis was subjected to massive and incredibly violent destruction, warning that the exodus of Rafah residents to… this area; It poses a great danger to the population due to the lack of access to services and goods to meet their basic needs, in addition to the dangers of collapse posed by buildings, half of which are still standing, and the presence of explosive devices.

 

She pointed out that Some residents return in the hope of salvaging some of their belongings from their destroyed homes, but they find nothing but devastation and children, aged 8 or 10, wandering – alone – in the streets with “empty eyes.” Without hope of finding anything.

She warned that this would exacerbate the humanitarian crisis; Especially since access to basic resources and services for survival is very limited, she stressed that an immediate and permanent ceasefire is the only way to avoid more casualties and alleviate human suffering.
