Ziad El-Sisi achieves a historic gold medal for Egypt in the Grand Prix Sword Championship in Korea

Ziyad El-Sisi, a player for the Egyptian national swordsman team, succeeded in achieving the gold medal in the Grand Prix Championship competition currently held in Seoul, South Korea. 

 

Ziyad was able to achieve A historic victory over his counterpart, the Georgian champion “Sandro” “Bazadi” Ranked first in the world in the final match with a score of 15-13.

 

Ziyad El-Sisi had started his career in the tournament by defeating the Japanese champion in the round of 64 with a score of 15-10 before defeating the champion Italy won 15-5 in the round of 32, while it defeated the French champion 15-11 in the final 16.

 

In the quarter-final match, Ziad defeated the other French champion with a score of 15- 8 before he continued his brilliance and defeated the American champion with the golden touch with a score of 15-14 in the semi-finals, then won gold by defeating the Georgia champion in the final.

 

The tournament witnessed the participation of the trio Muhammad Amer. Ziad El-Sisi and Adham Moataz from Egypt in the men’s competition, while Nada Hafez participated in the women’s competition.

 

The list of the Egyptian national team participating in the tournament included Ziad El-Sisi, Mohamed Amer, and Adham. Moataz, Nada Hafez, and the team is technically led by technical director Vincent Anset, while Dr. Youssef Hassan, doctor of physical therapy, is present with the mission.
