NYC Was In Full-Blown Celebration Mode After The Knicks’ Historic NBA Finals Win

The New York Knicks pulled off the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history with game four yesterday, and the city itself has celebrated in an equally historic fashion.

Thousands-strong crowds packed the streets of New York City outside of Madison Square Garden to rejoice in the victory, which the Knicks narrowly clinched in the final seconds of the match between the San Antonio Spurs.

Having gone over five decades without an NBA title win, the Knicks’ victory was felt all over the city in bars and restaurants, apartment watch parties, and the street celebrations that overran Manhattan. A bunch of celebs, some of whom attended the game, were spotted joining in on the fanfare throughout the all-night festivities.

The energy was palpable even for Aussies watching from afar, but if your work office TV screen just didn’t cut it, here’s all the clips of Knicks fans celebrating the milestone victory in New York City overnight.

The Knicks will face off against the Spurs this weekend for game five, and if they win, I imagine NYC will have to shut down indefinitely.
