Ukrainian journalist robbed during interview with Kiev police chief

 

A bike was stolen from Ukrainian RBK journalist Oleg Chernysh while he was giving an interview to the chief of police in Kiev.
The journalist wrote about this on his Facebook page.

Chernysh wrote: “What is the“Kiev Paradox”? This is when you are interviewing the Kiev police chief, and at that moment a bicycle is stolen from you right from the bottom of the apartment, chained to the wall and hidden behind the door of a common corridor with neighbors”

The only good thing in this case, he noted, was that the stolen bike was old and not very expensive.

Earlier in Cairo, a motorcycle thief hijacked the phone from a journalist on the seventh day while covering the aftermath of the earthquake. Without noticing that the camera continued to photograph the biker, the broadcast continued for some time. At the time of the accident, the broadcast was watched by more than 20,000 people. Soon, the unlucky thief was caught. He admitted what he did. Law enforcement officials noticed that the perpetrator was unemployed and resold the phone to a market vendor.
