Paris Saint-Germain player “Icardi and his wife Wanda Nara” accused of money laundering

Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi has been accused of money laundering and corruption.

The Argentine and his wife, Wanda Nara, founded Work Marketing Football Srl. The couple transferred part of the organization’s funds to the black market to evade taxes.

The lawsuit was filed against the company, which is owned by Icardi and Nara. The document submitted to the Argentine court says the money laundering relates to other companies with which Icardi and Nara are associated.

Icardi joined Paris Saint-Germain in September 2019. Icardi also played eight matches for the Argentina national team.

This season, the 28-year-old striker has appeared on the field 18 times and scored three goals.
