A woman tries to carry out a “run over” operation after prayers in France

Le Figaro newspaper writes, that police in the French city of Marseille have arrested a 34-year-old woman who was trying to run over several cars.

According to the newspaper, the woman prayed on the side of the road located in the 9th arrondissement of Marseille. Immediately after the prayer, she got behind the wheel of her car and deliberately tried to collide with other motorists. One of the drivers wanted to establish a dialogue with her. He got out of his car and drove to her car, the driver noticed that she was having a speakerphone conversation with a man who was giving her instructions. Then the woman tried to overturn the driver who was heading towards her, but she missed.

During the arrest, the woman reportedly shouted Islamic slogans several times while holding the Qur’an in her hand. She noted that she “did the right thing”. The arrested woman said she “had contact with terrorists”.

She was later transferred to a psychiatric hospital.

In March 2019, the woman was already hospitalized in a similar medical facility.
