Schoolchildren stage protest against chocolate ban

Pupils at Vacaville Schools protested the local school district’s decision to remove chocolate from their cafeteria menus.

The most obvious change for the students was the exclusion of chocolate milk from the diet.

The children left lessons and gathered in the school yard at a predetermined time to express their dissatisfaction with the changes.

“It’s really very important to us and we want it back,” said one student.

As a result, the opinion of the students was listened to. Chocolate milk will now be available one day a week, despite the risks to children’s health due to the high sugar content.
