US approves sale of 250 Abrams tanks to Poland
Washington plans to move 250 M1A2 SEPv3 Abrams tanks to Warsaw.
Poland’s Minister of National Defense, Mariusz Blaszczak wrote on his Twitter account, “Very important news for Poland’s security. The United States has approved the sale of 250 Abrams tanks in the latest version of the M1A2 SEPv3”
According to Blaschak, this purchase was one of the most important contracts in the history of Poland. “This is a very important enhancement of our defensive capabilities,” he said.
No details have been received yet on the deal between the United States and Poland to supply tanks.
