Beijing becomes a new epicenter of the Corona virus
The Beijing Health Commission said that the authorities of the Chinese capital have identified a new focus of the Corona virus in the prestigious part of Chaoyang District in the northeastern part of the city, where many foreigners live.
According to the commission, an outbreak of the disease was detected in a local pub. Over the past day, doctors have identified 61 infected people in the city (of whom 25 are asymptomatic) – and they have all visited this pub.
The publication notes that in connection with the situation, the Chaoyang administration has once again tightened the requirements for the epidemic. Many entertainment venues are temporarily closed again, and people who have been in the area where the specific source of infection has been recorded in recent days will be quarantined.
Earlier, the authorities of the Chinese city of Dandong asked residents to close windows to avoid infection with the Corona virus.
The city government cannot figure out why, with all precautions, every day in Dandong, a city of 2.19 million people, the number of patients is increasing.
