Biden reveals US plans for the Middle East

US President Joe Biden said, during his speech at the Arab-American Summit in the Saudi city of Jeddah, that his country will continue to ease tensions in the Middle East.

“The United States will not only try to contain threats to regional security. We will work to reduce tensions and de-escalate conflicts where possible,” the US leader declared.

Bloomberg also reported that Biden will announce on July 16 that the United States will provide $1 billion in food aid to the Middle East and North Africa.
