Representative Manal Nasr: Project "Egypt’s future" It aims to enhance food security and attract investments in the agricultural sector
Representative Manal Nasr, a member of the House of Representatives from the Hamat al-Watan Party, said that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s continued follow-up of the Egypt’s Future Project in the New Delta, and his directives to provide the necessary needs to complete the Egypt’s Future Project, came at the right time to enhance food security and achieve an abundance of goods, crops, and products. Nasr explained, in her press statements, that the Egypt Future Project in the New Delta aims to provide high-quality agricultural products at reasonable prices to citizens. Exporting the surplus abroad and achieving self-sufficiency for Egypt in basic commodities.

Representative Manal Nasr pointed out that Egypt is essentially an agricultural country, and therefore the agricultural sector represents one of the most important basic pillars in the Egyptian state’s economies, and this was demonstrated through President Sisi’s bias towards the Egyptian farmer and providing him with all means of support for his role in food security circles in a way that secures the state’s strategic reserve.
The member of the House of Representatives from the Homat al-Watan Party pointed out that the Future Project Egypt is considered Egypt’s agricultural locomotive and the first of the new delta project to achieve self-sufficiency and export the surplus, as the area targeted for reclamation is one million and fifty thousand acres out of a total of 2.2 million acres in the total area of the new delta.
