Mansour bin Zayed witnesses the competitions of the fifth day of the annual closing festival of Arabian camel races on the sword of the President of the State

ABU DHABI, 15 APRIL / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Court, witnessed the competitions of the fifth day of the annual final festival of purebred Arabian camel races, which took place on the sword of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President The state, “may God protect him.”

The competitions for the broadcasting category in the camel field in the Al Wathba area were also witnessed by His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State and President of the Camel Racing Federation, and a group of those interested in the sport of camel racing and its fans from the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the luncheon hosted by His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan at the Al Wathba Majlis, in the presence of a number of camel owners.
Participants in the competitions appreciated the support provided by the wise leadership for this authentic heritage sport and the valuable prizes allocated for the competitions, making it one of the most important sports in the country, through the regular festivals held in general and in the capital of Al Mayadeen in particular.
The attendees thanked the owners, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his important follow-up and support for camel racing. While the participants appreciated His Highness’s keenness to attend various competitions, stressing that His Highness’s constant follow-up and support of this heritage sport contributes to efforts to preserve and sustain it.
The results of the radio competitions were as follows:

In the first half, Zod by Matar Suhail Al-Yabhouni Al-Dhaheri won the race and first place after arriving in 9:08:7 minutes, and in the second half, Shaqra by Ahmed Saeed Brooke Al-Humairi topped the stages of the half, achieving first place with a time of 9:05:1 minutes, and in the third half she won. Al-Ghazal, owned by Saeed Saleh Khurida Al-Mansouri, won first place with a time of 9:12:02 minutes. While “Abab”, owned by Suhail Salem in Al-Luteya Al-Amri, won first place in the fourth round competitions with a time of 9:12:2 minutes.
