‘Among Us’ Animated Series Adds Dan Stevens, Liv Hewson, Kimiko Glenn

The “Among Us” animated series in the works at CBS Studios is continuing to build out its voice cast.

Dan Stevens, Liv Hewson, and Kimiko Glenn have all joined the series adaptation of the popular mobile game. They join previously announced cast members Randall Park, Yvette Nicole Brown, Elijah Wood, and Ashley Johnson.

Stevens is perhaps best known for his time on the beloved series “Downton Abbey” and for starring in the FX-Marvel series “Legion.” He also currently voices one of the main characters on the Hulu animated series “Solar Opposites.” In film, he will appear in the upcoming feature “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” and has previously appeared in productions like “Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga” and “Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb.”

He is repped by CAA, Julian Belfrage Associates, and Peikoff Mahan Law Office.

Hewson currently appears in the hit Showtime series “Yellowjackets.” They are also known for their role in the Netflix comedy series “Santa Clarita Diet,” on which they starred throughout the show’s three season run. Their other credits include the TV series “Top of the Lake” and films such as “Bombshell” and “Let It Snow.”

They are repped by UTA, Aran Michael Management, Mosaic, and Sloane Offer.

Glenn is best known for her time on the groundbreaking Netflix series “Orange Is the New Black.” She is also an accomplished voice actress, having lent her voice to shows like “Hazbin Hotel,” “Baby Shark’s Big Show,” “BoJack Horseman,” and “Summer Camp Island.”

She is repped by Buchwald, Artists First, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.

Variety exclusively reported the series was in development back in June 2023. It hails from CBS Eye Animation Productions and Innersloth, the independent game studio behind “Among Us.”

Owen Dennis will serve as creator and executive producer on the “Among Us” series under his overall deal with CBS Studios. Per the official logline, the series is based on the premise of the game, namely, “Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor’ or fall victim to its murderous designs.”

Titmouse (“Big Mouth,” “Star Trek: Lower Decks”) will serve as the animation studio for the series. Along with Dennis, Forest Willard, Marcus Bromander, and Carl Neisser of Innersloth will also executive produce along with Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina of Titmouse. No network or streamer is currently attached, but those conversations are said to be ongoing. CBS Eye Animation Productions produces in association with Innersloth.
