OPEC + decides to increase oil production

Ministers of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and non-OPEC countries (OPEC+) agreed to increase oil production by 100,000 barrels per day in September.

According to the statement following the results of the 31st meeting of the alliance, Russia and Saudi Arabia agreed to increase production by 26,000 (b / y) for each country.

The next meeting of the group will be held on September 5th. The OPEC+ alliance includes 10 countries – namely Russia, Oman, Sudan, South Sudan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Brunei, Malaysia and Mexico.
