European Parliament bans gas and oil imports from Russia
The European Parliament adopted a resolution calling on the European Union to impose a ban on supplies of gas, oil, coal and nuclear fuel from Russia by a majority of votes.
According to the agency, 413 deputies supported the resolution, 93 deputies voted against it, and 46 deputies did not participate in the vote.
It is noteworthy that the decisions of the European Parliament are not binding on the executive authorities of the European Union.
