The ram, Baran, was arrested after attacking Adi Chaping, 45, who died of her injuries. The police said that after investigating the incident, the case was referred to the court.
Major Elia Mabor added: “The owner is innocent and the ram has committed a crime, so he must be punished.”
According to the ruling, the ram will remain behind bars for three years. In addition, the owners of the animal must give five cows to the family of the deceased as compensation.
